Join the Captain Tom 100 Challenge

Calling All Headway Heroes…

We’re inviting you, your family and friends to join thousands of people around the world in the Captain Tom 100 from Friday 30 April to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May 2021.

Captain Sir Tom Moore’s simple message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – inspired millions around the world and brought comfort and joy to so many during the pandemic. However, charities like Headway Glasgow continue to struggle with financial challenges caused by Covid-19 and we need your help.

It’s time for us all to come together in honour of Captain Tom and build on that legacy while raising much-needed funds for Headway Glasgow.

How do I join in?

All you need to do choose an activity of your choice based around the number 100 – and do it any time and anywhere from Friday 30 April through to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May.

There are no rules – apart from any government lockdown restrictions in your area. The main thing is to have fun and pledge whatever you can to help Headway Glasgow. If you’re stuck for ideas, we have a list if suggestions at the end of the post.

Sounds Good! What do I do next?

1. Dream up your Captain Tom 100 challenge – if you need help check some ideas below.
2. Click here to set up a fundraising page or donate whatever you can afford to Headway Glasgow.
3. Ask all your friends and family to sponsor you and challenge them to do their own Captain Tom 100 on behalf of Headway Glasgow.
4. Complete your challenge
5. Share a photo or video of your challenge on social media with #CaptainTom100 and don’t forget to tag Headway Glasgow on Facebook or Instagram.

We hope you’ll join the nation in the Captain Tom 100 to support Headway Glasgow and ensure that Captain Tom’s legacy lives on.
